The Ninth Configuration is a film that has deeply affected Cort from the day it randomly entered his life over two decades ago.  The film is a chaotic mix of multiple genres that collide into a beautiful fever dream about existential dread and finding a reason to go on within a world you no longer feel welcome. Discussions get deeper and more introspective than was ever possible for the dim witted duo before.  Has the show raised the bar to match what Cort loves most about this hidden gem or has  the moronic immaturity inherent in the show dragged the discussion into that same juvenile idiocy once again?
